Located in Karachi City, the Karachi Institute of Culinary Arts (KICA) was founded with community and creativity in mind. KICA is a premier chef development institute accredited by national and international vocational and technical training regulators, and in direct partnership with City and Guilds, UK. The institute intends to produce well qualified, effective and dedicated professionals, who can benefit from huge career potential offered by the thriving hospitality industry.

What we facilitate our students
The facilities at KICA give trainees the opportunity to acquire skills, which are necessary for a successful career growth within the hospitality and catering industry. For this purpose, a combination of lectures, training videos and live demonstrations are used to teach the theoretical and culinary skills. At the end of each term, students are assessed through case studies, discussions, presentations, group and individual assessments, practical and theory tests.
KICA features small, hands-on classes with attentive, distinguished chef instructors. The Institute has its own state-of-the-art food production unit, including a training kitchen, bakery; learning resource centre and latest IT facilities.
With a view to provide real life hands on training to the students, KICA has agreements with renowned and leading hospitality establishments in Karachi.
