The KICA Certificate in Culinary is intended for adults seeking fundamental knowledge and skills in food and beverage production and wish to apply their learning to the workplace.

What you’ll study

This program combines the essentials of professional cookery operations, fundamentals of pastry, baking and desserts while emphasizes basic food production principles in order to meet the needs and, whenever possible, exceed the expectations of customers.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification but Secondary School Certificate (with Math and English) or equivalent will be preferred. Approved age group is 16+ years.

On completion of this qualification candidates may progress into our Diploma in Food & Beverage Management to advance their skills and increase employment opportunities.
