What you’ll study
The qualification covers an introduction to the hospitality industry, elements of health, safety and nutrition and the preparation, cooking and finishing of dishes using a range of different cookery methods.
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification but Secondary School Certificate (with Math and English) or equivalent will be preferred. Approved age group is 16+ years.
Career opportunities
On completion of this qualification candidates may progress into employment as a trainee, or to the following City & Guilds qualifications:
