The KICA Certificate in Special Chinese Cuisine aims to provide students with essential knowledge and skills in Chinese kitchen operations. It integrates a defined range of key technical and operational skills required by chefs to prepare Chinese cuisines.

What you’ll study

This program is designed for those who interest culinary art in Chinese cuisine. Students will learn the unique skills in Chinese cooking methods and techniques such as steaming, stir-frying, roasting, and learn the food preparation and kitchen equipment such as knives and wok.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification but Secondary School Certificate (with Math and English) or equivalent will be preferred. Approved age group is 16+ years.
