What you’ll study
Students will learn some theoretical knowledge of hygiene and kitchen safety measures, basic food principles, knife skills, mixing and using spices, and preparing, cooking and finishing basic fish, meat, poultry, vegetables and rice dishes, tandoori dishes and curries of Pakistan.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification but Secondary School Certificate (with Math and English) or equivalent will be preferred. Approved age group is 16+ years.
On completion of this qualification candidates may progress into a wide variety of our certificate and diploma programs to advance their skills and increase employment opportunities.
